What is the Cubesat? How will it change space exploration? Improvements in technology, solar power and electronics in recent years have allowed a new type of satellite to be developed. The cubesat has simplified the design making the cost of building a satellite as cheap as $100,000. This includes development, launch and the operation of the satellite a low price when compared to previous prices.
