3 - Modeling and Simulation teams successfully submitted their RWIW Challenge problems to NASA for consideration. The teams used the engineering problem solving process to research and design a solar radiation/heat shield for the James Webb Space Telescope. The shield is designed to protect critical instruments onboard the spacecraft for extremely hot temperatures. Good luck teams on the next stage of the challenge.
